The Greek Nursing Care Association was founded in 1989. It is a non-profit scientific association based in Athens, Greece.
The goal of the Greek Nursing Care Association is the promotion of nursing science in Greece, research, education, retraining and information of nurses in health matters with the ultimate goal of benefiting the nursing community and the wider society.
To achieve this purpose, the association acts according to the appropriate means, in particular:
Explores the factors influencing health care.
It cooperates with public and private organizations having any related mission both in Greece and abroad and especially in the countries of the European Union.
It organizes lectures, conferences, seminars, scientific meetings and exchange program of scientists.
GNSA members receive a copy of the e-journal "Nursing Care and Research" free of charge and have access to the full texts of the articles published in it. They have the opportunity to publish scientific articles in the journal "Nursing Care and Research" (at special rate), to receive information about all GNSA events and have the opportunity to participate in GNSA educational activities for special prices.
